Bradley Brown Faces the Music
Pittsburgh’s 250th birthday has spawned a blitz of many interesting projects celebrating the city’s cultural heritage. For listener-supported 91.3fm WYEP it led to the Pittsburgh Performance Project, which pays homage to twelve, legendary live music venues with an interactive exhibit and on-air series. The venues were nominated by the listeners and then selected by the staff and board of directors of WYEP with the help of a panel of local music experts.
WYEP asked us to create a logo for the project, as well as a visual exhibit that was unveiled at the launch party on July 18 at the Kelly-Strayhorn Theater.

We created a mark that puts the focus on
“performance“ and incorporates the WYEP logo.
