 |  |  2004/05 Viewbook |  |  | Bradley Brown makes the grade. Late
last year, Waynesburg College came to us with a goal to create
strategic, engaging recruitment pieces that would more accurately
reflect their modern campus and innovative programs. Our assignment was
to create a more consistent, contemporary look targeted to their
audience of teenagers and families.
It was a project with a
great deal of depth to it, and we designed a branded, youthful look for
the admissions viewbook and search pieces, invitations, brochures and
more. The eight-month process included the coordination and shooting of
new photography in the spring of this year. We then applied the new
look to a complete overhaul of the college's Web site waynesburg.edu.
It's an exciting set of projects, filled with challenges and solutions:- Striking
a balance of new and existing photography, we used large, expressive
shots of students interacting with each other and the campus as a
visual link to the college's "Connections That Matter" theme.
- To
produce inviting, reader-friendly materials, we created open,
expressive designs that include all of the relevant information without
being packed margin-to-margin with copy.
- The dynamic
style of these pieces is also achieved through the use of a
personalized, hand writing-style typeface and a vibrant treatment of
the college's signature orange color.
