There's always a lot of dish at Bradley Brown considering that good food and restaurants seem to be on the brain at our office. Since I am often asked to coordinate lunch or dinner plans for Bradley Brown and our clients, I thought I would share some of my personal favorites.

Best Italian
Sarafino's Pasta and Pizza
40 East Crafton Avenue, Crafton 412.922.8911
A cozy, BYOB restaurant with a reputation for their family recipes. Don't miss their Bolognese sauce, Greens and Beans or daily specials. Sarafino's is a Crafton institution, but you also can visit their second location which opened recently on Beaver Street in Sewickley.

Best Sushi
Sushi Three
299 Beverly Road, Mt. Lebanon 412.344.7874
Fresh, fresh, fresh sushi with a nice selection of hot and cold sakes. Try the Sautéd Edamame (soybeans) appetizer. The recipe was given to Sushi Three by Bradley Brown's Susie Bradley after she had the dish at a London restaurant.

Best Mexican/Beer Selection
MadMex
Robinson Plaza II, Route 60, Robinson Township 412.494.5656
There is a wide selection of creative menu offerings and a substantial amount of vegetarian choices at this funky, casual eatery. Try the Dance Marathon Burrito or the Thai Chicken Wrap and wash it down with a Samichlaus, one of the strongest lagers in the world.

Best Indian
Namaste India
3101 Banksville Road, Banksville 412.563.1901
I'm not a big fan of restaurant buffets, except at Namaste. The lunch time buffet is a great way to sample many different types of traditional Indian fare. Make sure to order a Mango Lassi, a milkshake-like drink made with yogurt, to offset the spiciness of some of the dishes.

Best Bakery
Paddy Cake Bakery
4763 Liberty Avenue, Bloomfield 412.621.4477
I'm a sucker for sweets and a connoisseur of birthday cakes. You'll find the best whipped cream icing on the beautiful cakes.

Best Cookies
Simply Decadent Desserts
1136 Thorn Run Road, Moon 412.269.1769
If you have ever seen the "Soup Nazi" episode on "Seinfeld," you'll know what a Cookie Nazi is. So be there at your EXACT pick-up time to grab the most delicious, buttercream-iced cutout cookies you've ever had.

Best Pizza
Don Campiti's Pizzeria
1509 Potomac Avenue, Dormont 412.561.9608
If you like thin crust, this is the place for you. The pizza's crust is cracker-thin so make sure to order a lot. Don't order it for carry-out though; it tastes best if you eat it right at the shop.

Best Pad Thai
Angkor Cambodian and Thai Cuisine
2350 Nobelstown Road, Greentree-Crafton 412.928.8424
I've been a longtime fan of Thai food which means I don't have to go far for my favorite spicy noodle dish.

Best Fish Sandwich
Vincent's of Greentree
333 Mansfield Avenue, Greentree 412.921.8811
I've tried a lot of fish sandwiches in my day and this new discovery is one of the best. Although it is fried, it's light and not too greasy. Note: Vincent's only serves their fish sandwiches on Fridays (and Wednesdays during Lent).

Best Soft Serve Ice Cream (for quantity)
Remember When
3860 Chartiers Avenue, Windgap 412.331.2234
The most insanely large portions you'll ever find. If you order the large sized cone they literally have to bring it through the back door because it won't fit through the service window.

Best Soft Serve Ice Cream (for quality)
Page Dairy Mart
4600 East Carson Street, Hayes 412.431.0600
You know it's good when they are lined up six-deep on a 48° day in early May. Located at the corner of East Carson and Becks Run Road, this custard-like cream puts Dairy Queen to shame.

Best Bread
MediTerra Bakehouse
801 Parkway View Drive, Robinson 412.490.9130
Carb lovers beware: MediTerra breads are addictive. I like the 8 Grain/3 Seed or, for a sweet treat, the chocolate cherry bread is like dessert. Look for their new café to open in the Strip District soon.

Best Food Web Site
www.epicurious.com
An endless resource for food lovers from the publishers of Gourmet and Bon Appétit magazines. Just a few of the things you'll find are restaurant reviews, recipes, menu suggestions, cookbook recommendations, and how-to guides.

Bon Apetito! Thanks for reading.
